ALTARS
MOVEMENT
intercession. action. revival.
Altars of revival
During the Hebrides Revival (1949–1952), Duncan Campbell saw the restoration of four key spiritual altars. He learned that revival flowed from lives and communities brought back into alignment with God in these foundational areas.
Revival begins in the inner life. God sees where a heart is fully yielded and free from hidden compromise. A revived heart becomes a place for god to dwell.
the heart
Homes become places of prayer, Scripture, and spiritual leadership, not just routine living. homes turn their attention toward God, creating environments where God is at the center.
the HOme
The church returns to purity, unity, and the centrality of God’s presence. hunger for God increases, and gatherings become marked by conviction and encounter.
the CHURCH
Revival ultimately spills beyond churches into entire cities. When the altars are restored, Communities are transformed as conviction, repentance, and salvation spread in everyday spaces.
